By Car

York is only a few miles off the A1 London to Edinburgh highway and is easily accessible from the M1 and M62 motorways. Driving time from London or Edinburgh is about 3 - 4 hours.

Whichever direction you approach York from you will arrive at the outer ring road. Go onto the ring road and take the shortest circuit to the A1079 York - Hull junction. Take the fourth exit off the roundobout signposted Hull A1079 and follow this road for 3 miles, the hotel will then be on your left.

By Train

Frequent trains are operated to York from London, Peterborough, Newcastle - upon - Tyne, Edinburgh and Glasgow by Great North Eastern Railways; from Birmingham, Bristol, the West Country and South Wales by Virgin Cross - Country; and from Liverpool, Manchester and Leeds by Regional Railways North East.

By Boat

York is only an hours drive from Hull Docks, the destination of daily overnight sailings by P&O North Sea Ferries from Rotterdam (Europoort) in the Netherlands and Zeebrugge in Belgium.

The hotel is located on the A1079 York Hull road. Motorist will find it your right as you head towards York from Hull, 3 miles from the York ring road. For non - motorists National Express runs a connecting coach from Hull Docks to York.

By Air

The nearest airport is Leeds / Bradford (28 miles). Newcastle - Upon - Tyne and Manchester International Airport are also very accessible. A direct train service (hourly by day, less frequent at night) connects York with Manchester International Airport in less than 2 hours.
